A reporting system for Emirates Flight Catering

Useful report and financial templates should remove repetitive design work, make detailed information easier to understand and give teams the flexibility to accommodate every requirement.
The previous reports contained the required information and followed structures familiar to the team, but they were created as individual presentations rather than through one connected template design system.
Layouts and formatting often needed to be rebuilt or adjusted during each reporting cycle. Detailed information could also become difficult to navigate when figures, commentary and supporting content competed for attention.
The objective was not to replace a reporting process that the team already understood. It was to build a practical system around that process and make it considerably easier to use.
The Rekarda Approach: Turning Recurring operational and financial Reports into a Practical Presentation System
This allowed us to identify the layouts the team used regularly, the types of information that needed greater clarity and the additional requirements that could appear from one reporting period to another.
We used those findings to develop a connected presentation system rather than a collection of generic slides. Every layout and component was created around the reports the team actually produces.

Building Around an Established Processes
The familiar flow of the reports was retained so that the new system would feel natural for the team to adopt.Rekarda redesigned how figures, comparisons, commentary, performance updates and supporting details were organised. Clearer hierarchy and more consistent formatting made the information easier to read without changing the underlying reporting structure. The main elements were predesigned and preformatted.
Instead of rebuilding each presentation, the team could add its latest numbers and information to layouts that were already structured and ready to use.
Ready for Different Reporting Cycles
The system was developed to support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Core layouts covered the information that appeared regularly, while additional options were created for reports requiring more context, supporting details or a different way of presenting the information.
This balance gave the team consistency across recurring reports without forcing every reporting cycle into exactly the same set of slides.

A Complete Presentation-Building Kit
The requirement extended beyond the reporting templates themselves. Emirates Flight Catering also needed the ability to create new slides when future reports introduced information that had not been anticipated.
Rekarda created a presentation-building kit containing reusable infographics, visual elements, content layouts and branded components.
These resources allow the team to expand reports and respond to new requirements while maintaining the same visual language, information hierarchy and level of consistency.
Results: Faster Reporting with Greater Clarity and Impact

Emirates Flight Catering received a flexible PowerPoint reporting system designed around its existing processes and recurring requirements.
The templates significantly reduced the time required to produce each report. Instead of repeatedly formatting layouts and rebuilding visual elements, the team could focus on updating the information and communicating its findings. The client responded very positively to the completed system.
The team reported that report creation had become extremely fast, while the finished presentations communicated information more clearly and with greater impact.
